L. Danyetta Najoli grew up in Harlem, New York City in the St. Nicholas Housing Authority. She is a cultural humility coach, Amazon best-selling author, and principal consultant of Najoli Learning Group LLC. Her mission is to support people’s growth mindset and personal development, particularly those who provide close support to vulnerable people as their main role and job function. Danyetta’s work is based on the research of multiple intelligences, design thinking, mindfulness, and positive psychology.
She earned a Coaching for Results Certificate from Harvard Business School, a Diversity & Inclusion Certificate from Cornell University, a Healing Centered Education certificate from Acosta Institute, and a certificate of cultural humility through the University of Chicago. She is a member of Thomas Leonard’s Graduate School of Coaching and is a long-standing member of Coachville.com. Danyetta has written two ebooks, What is Coaching? and Unstoppable Confidence: Sustaining a Posture for Success, that was published as an audiobook on Audible.com. She is the author of 40 Keys to Excellence-Based Living: Practical Ways for Happily Living with Intention, a journal companion book. She is also the author of the book, MicroShift: Small Mindset Changes for Big Results. This books walks readers through her signature coaching program, Release, Allow, Attract, and Act while sharing her personal reset story. Danyetta co-designed the creative, embodiment, and participatory project called, The Black American Tree Project which looks at the shadow experiences of Black Americans from pre-colonial Africa to present-day America.
Danyetta earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Fisk University (HBCU) and a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership from Regent University. Danyetta is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. She served on numerous community boards and is a current board member of Neighbours, Inc, a New Jersey based organization that provides community support to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities so they can be contributing members of society while improving the larger culture.
In 2021, she coined the phrase, person centered cultural humility as a collection of ideas and approach to supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities with their own culture in mind to better the person and the community in which they live and participate.
Danyetta provides in-person training, webinars, and group coaching on essential soft skills including cultural humility, community building, and strengths-based communications. She also developed the Equity Values Audit Tool that assesses diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging at the organization or team levels.
Danyetta’s greatest accomplishment is being the mother of two beautiful teenagers and the wife of her adoring husband.
