Organizational Development (OD)

As a Senior Organizational Development Specialist, my mission is to creatively equip people within not-for-profit organizations with the knowledge, skills, and insight needed to sustain success. 
 
OD Products
 
Organizational Change Plan - a comprehensive plan that identifies key modification recommendations for organizational sustainability. Diagnose, assess, and implement organization development strategies to improve organizational effectiveness.  Also provided is the development, implementation and evaluation of performance improvement systems for employees at all levels.
 
Values Audita comprehensive survey that reflects employee's and/or client's perception of the organizational values.  Use of data collection, assessment and measures to help internal clients continuously adapt and improve processes is implemented. A Values Audit can be provided at the organizational, departmental, or team/group level.
 
Telework/Virtual Work Proposal -  an in-depth proposal that identifies the benefits and concerns of telework.  This proposal can be customized for an internal process, team, or individual.  An employee-selection criteria is explored to determine the best candidates for telework within your organization.  Training needs and evaluation methods for telework employees are identified.  Communication methods for managers of telework employees are highlighted.   A detailed list of equipment needed and the necessary environmental factors that exist to make the telework project successful is explored. This proposal is ideal for organizations who want to explore any aspect of working virtually as a way work is done. 
 
Management Creed - an interactive activity that produces management's authentic core values and beliefs around critical management themes.  The Management Creed is produced on display-quality, frame ready paper for each manager.
 
Vision Framework* -  a comprehensive framework for identifying what it takes for an organization to successfully Stimulate Growth, through mission development and visualizing the future, and Preserve the Core of its purpose, values, and beliefs.  Explore the way other organizations, that have been around for over 100 years, have used this model for sustainability.  Identify environmental threats and opportunities that effect the Vision Framework.  This can be facilitated at the organizational, departmental, or team/group level. The Vision Framework is produced on display-quality, frame ready paper for each participant. 
 
*The Vision Framework is based on the research of Jim Collins and Jerry Porras, authors of Built to Last: Successful Habits of Visionary Companies.
 
 
OD Services
 
Design and deliver professional development in the areas of quality improvement tools, quality improvement methods, quality management, continuous improvement, project management and problem solving methods via multiple modes and methods (classroom, e-learning, self-study, on-the-job, just-in-time, etc.)
 
 
Help units identify, adopt and adapt appropriate best practices from other sectors (benchmarking).
 
Facilitate quality circles to brainstorm about methods to improve processes or to solve problems.
 
Facilitate individual and team goal setting sessions.
 
Personal and professional coaching to help individuals plan for their lives and careers.
 
Coach executive level personnel and teams
 
Integrate, as appropriate, a variety of assessment tools into the learning solutions (may include DiSC, conflict surveys, 360 feedback instruments, etc.)
 
Promote the strategic direction of the organization, group, or team by supporting individuals, teams and departments in accomplishment of overaching goals.
  
Increase organizational effectiveness and continuously identify opportunities to increase organizational alignment.
 
Facilitate conflict management meetings that reduce destructive conflict between members of a work unit, or conflict between one or more groups.
 
Assist two groups or organizations work together to establish and/or maintain more effective relationships.
 
Increase the awareness of employees to the importance of efficient, courteous customer service and equip them with tools to carry out effective customer service.
